Tofas Darussafaka, also known as Darussafaka Tekfen, is a Turkish professional basketball team based in Istanbul, Turkey. The team was founded in 1951 and has been a regular participant in the Turkish Basketball League since its establishment in 1966.
The team is owned by the Darussafaka Education Institutions, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to underprivileged children in Turkey. The team's home arena is the Volkswagen Arena, which has a seating capacity of 5,240.
Tofas Darussafaka has won two Turkish Basketball League championships in its history, in 1961 and 1966. The team also won the Turkish Cup in 2018.
The team has been known for its successful youth development program and has produced several notable players, including Hidayet Turkoglu, Mehmet Okur, and Ersan Ilyasova.
